Learn about our courses

  • All students who complete our training receive a Dog World Grooming Academy Certificate of Completion. We are not affiliated with external awarding bodies such as City & Guilds. The dog grooming industry in the UK is not regulated, and there is no legal requirement to hold a City & Guilds qualification to work as a professional dog groomer or to open a grooming business.

  • We keep our training small and personal, with only a few students per intake. This gives you a very high student-to-teacher ratio, meaning more one-to-one guidance, hands-on practice, and tailored support throughout your training.

  • Training takes place at our grooming studio in Winchmore Hill, Enfield (N21). We’re a few minutes’ walk from the station, close to local bus routes and parking. The space is calm, small-group based, and designed to help you learn with confidence.
