Anna
A few years ago, when my partner became ill, I found myself rethinking my entire career. Hospitality had been my life, but I felt an urge for change—a bit terrified and unsure of my next steps. Around that time, we welcomed a dachshund named Lucy into our lives. During our long walks together, I had an epiphany: I wanted to work with dogs.
My friend Kasia, who was also ready for a new chapter, and I decided to team up. Together, we founded Dog World Grooming—a decision that changed my life. Grooming dogs is not only physical work, but it's also creative, rewarding, and endlessly fun. Every dog has its own personality, and I take great pride in ensuring each one leaves happy and looking their best.
Running my own business has been empowering. I get to be my own boss, and there’s no limit to my creativity. Plus, I work alongside Kasia, my business partner and friend. We've created an environment where laughter and hard work go hand-in-hand. This journey has taught me to live in the moment and embrace every challenge with optimism. When fear tries to creep in, I remind myself that I can either let it paralyze me or use it to fuel my next success.

In 2018, my life entered an exciting new chapter when Anna and I decided to launch Dog World Grooming together. After spending over a decade in Australia, the idea of starting fresh back in Europe was both thrilling and challenging. But great things come from taking bold steps.
My journey into grooming began in Melbourne, where I volunteered at a local studio and fell in love with the craft. The team’s passion was infectious, and I quickly discovered how much joy there is in transforming a dog’s look while keeping them happy and comfortable. Though I was initially nervous about handling tricky areas like the eyes and face, my confidence grew with practice.
When I returned to London, I dove into a professional grooming course, and with Anna's support, I refined my skills every day. Now, as a confident groomer, I love how every dog brings something unique, making each day rewarding and full of learning. Grooming isn’t just a job—it's my passion. It allows me to build trust with pets, helping them relax while making sure they look and feel their best. At Dog World Grooming, we believe every dog deserves a little pampering.
